Abstract

Feminism is a broad range of political, ideological and social movement that tries to create equality between the sexes. Feminism is a socio-political and literary theory which rethink about the set patterns of social concept regarding women and her social, financial, personal and family life. When we analyse the history of man than we see that in medieval famous French philosopher Christine de Pisan challenged the restriction made by society on women. In 18 th Century Mary Wollstonecraft’s A Vindication of the Rights of women become a prominent contribution regarding Feminism. In modern era the first- wave of feminism in the 19 th and early 20 th century focused upon women’s legal rights, especially the right to vote. The Second-wave discusses about every aspect of women’s life including politics, work, personal and family life, sexuality, human rights and freedom and all others. In this article we tries to define feminism and its Eastern socio cultural epistemology by using qualitative research methodology. We make reference between Liberal, Radical and modern feminism and for this we read basic sources about Eastern and western cultural discourse.
